World Book Day!

On Thursday the 5th of March is World Book Day. Staff and Pupils will celebrate this day by; dressing up, taking part in competitions and enjoying sharing their love for reading. There will be events taking place in school on this day. The Photo Gallery page will be updated with photos after this event.

Valentines Disco

Primary 7 are hosting a Valentines Disco for the school on Friday afternoon, this week. They are raising money to help support their residential trip this year. On this day the children can ‘Wear What They Want’ to school. Cost is £1 altogether. A drink and Valentines sweet will be provided.

Catholic Education Sunday

This Sunday, 8th of February, marks the start of Catholic Education Week. Please join in our planned Family Mass at 11:00am in St. Mary’s Church. Primary 6 will present their current study of the Pope Francis Faith Award at this Enrolment Service.

Clothes Mountain for Mary’s Meals

Clothing Mountain in aid of Mary’s Meals

St Joseph’s Eco-Committee wish to help Mary’s Meals – a charity which supports young children in Africa.

This Friday each child is asked to bring a bag of old clothes, which can be recycled, to school.

We will make a clothes mountain for each class. The clothes will then be donated to the Community Charity Shop who are selling from Sunday 1st February to Saturday 7th February in aid of Mary’s meals.

Thank you for your support in this eco-friendly project to help other children.

Primary 1 enrolment

Primary 1 enrolment will take place the week beginning 26th January 2015.

All children who will be five on or before 29 February 2016 are eligible to be enrolled in Primary 1 starting August 2015.

Enrolment will take place at the school at 3pm each day from 26 January to 30 January 2015.
