Spring/Summer 2019 School Lunch Menu

School lunch menus for the new term are making their way home with children this week.

Children in P1-P7 will receive the Primary School Menu (3 choice menu)
Children in Nursery will receive the Early Learning and Childcare Menu (2 choice menu).

If you have a child/children who are in P1-P7 and a child in Nursery who stays at school for a school lunch, please note the two menu options above and make sure the correct lunch is ordered from the correct menu.  These menus are very similar in appearance however the front cover states the menu name.

Both these menu’s can be found on the Parent Info page.

As part of out topic about flowers and spring the children have been discussing what grows from seeds, we have explored our enviroment but also have looked at the story ‘Handas Suprise’ this has led to discussions about seeds in fruits.  Today some children visited Tesco to see if they could find any fruits from the story.  We then tasted them at snack time.

In Nursery the topic is Spring and flowers, we have been growing seeds, exploring the nursery garden and we have been creating some wonderful pictures which are displayed in the cloakroom.  We encourage parents to be involved with activities so please speak to a member of the nursery team.

Please remember the floorbooks and individual profiles contain childrens learning, please feel free to have a look at what we have been doing.
