P7 Leavers’ Assembly

Tomorrow, Tuesday 30th June 2020, St Joseph’s Primary will hold their P7 virtual Leavers’ Assembly from 10.30am-11.30am.

We hope all the P7’s and their families can join us.  The easiest way to join, is through the Google Meet link in the Calendar.  Please wear school uniform for this assembly if possible.

Class Group Photo’s

The Parent Council arranged for one of our talented parents to take class photos of our children. These are available to purchase at a cost of £2.50 per photo.
Samples of each class photo has been on display in the playground windows of the Nursery/Infant Corridor since Monday. There are 2 designs for each year group to choose from: Style A or Style B.
Please complete the order form sent home earlier this week, marking clearly which “style” you are ordering and enclose the money due, to the school by Friday 31st January 2020.
Proceeds from the sale of these photos will be reinvested into the school.
The main projects the Parent Council are focusing on this year are to upgrade the Playground Resources and Sports Wear for the children to use when representing the school at external events.
Thanks as always for your support.

Breakfast Club

The breakfast club is open from 8.00am-9.00am every morning for all pupils wishing to access this service. The club is situated in the canteen and run by a member of school staff.
The cost is £1.00 per day and includes something to eat and drink. Please notify a member of staff if your child has any dietary requirements.
Pupils must be brought in to breakfast club and signed in by an adult. The club starts at 8.00am therefore pupils should not arrive or be left unaccompanied in the school prior to this time as there are no staff available.  Please notify a member of staff if your child has any dietary requirements.

P7 Pupils – Inverness High School Highlights

P7 pupils have been invited, along with their class, to Inverness High School HIGHLIGHTS Show on Tuesday 12th November 2019.

At the event your child will have the chance to try hands on activities and puzzling problems and to see intriguing displays from many departments in the school. Staff and senior pupils will be available to answer any questions they may have.

In the evening we would like to offer you the chance to try the same activities that your children have been involved in during the day. It would be great if you could join us between 5.30pm-6.30pm to see what they have been up to, to have a tour of the school and to talk to us about the transition programme that we are running to make sure your child feels fully prepared for the “big” school in August 2020.

Hot food will be provided for you and your children so that you can sample the fantastic canteen food on offer.
