At the end of July, the Scottish Government are to make a statement clarifying the plans for school opening. Further information will follow after this next announcement.
For now, we would like to wish all our families, a happy summer.

Good afternoon everyone,
Following the release of our class teachers for the coming school year, I would also like to say a fond farewell to those who will not be returning to St. Joseph’s after the summer.
⭐️ We say goodbye to Miss Gallie who has been with us this past year as our Primary 2 teacher. Thank you Miss Gallie for your hard work and dedication and we wish you the best of luck as you move on to pastures new.
⭐️ We say goodbye also to Miss Dalglish who has been with us for 2 years now. Miss Dalglish was out Primary 6 teacher this year and we wish her every success as she moves into a new school next session.Thank you Miss Dalglish for your enthusiasm and caring nature.
⭐️ Mrs MacDonald (PSA) and Mrs Watson (EYP) continue their maternity leave after the summer break and we wish them continued joy with their little ones.
All the team at St. Joseph’s are looking forward to welcoming you back after the summer break. We have been busy in school this week and last, preparing classrooms for your return.
We will continue to communicate with you as new advice is released.

Activities for Nursery – P7
On Friday 26th June 2020, St Joseph’s Primary will be holding a virtual Health and Well Being Day to celebrate our annual school sports day and teddy bears picnic.
Please look out for the Health and Well Being video which will be added to classroom streams from Thursday evening so that everyone is ready to participate on Friday. Families are encouraged to take photos and videos of their chosen activities and upload them on to their google classrooms.
These activities will replace the usual literacy, numeracy and health and well being posts which are posted daily as all staff will also be taking part.
