Please feel free to pop in to school at the end of the school day to have a wee look or ask your child to check during the day whilst they are at school. Any items left at the end of term will be donated to a local charity.

Due to the recent adverse weather, we have taken the decision to cancel Nursery and P1-P7 Sports Day which was due to be held tomorrow.
This event has now been rescheduled to Thursday 20th June 2019.
Our school sports day is scheduled to take place on Thursday 13th June this year, weather permitting and will be run in the Northern Meeting Park. Nursery sports will be in the morning and Primary 1 to 7 sports will start at 1.15pm. All pupils will receive a snack and drink and the ice-cream van will be in attendance all afternoon.
If you would like to take your child home from the Northern Meeting Park after the sports, please ensure you let the class teacher know.
This Friday, 14th June 2019 will be ‘Wear What You Want’ Day at St Joseph’s Primary. Children are asked to bring to school with them, a donation for our bottle stall at the School Fete. Donations can include: spirits, wine, beer, juice, sauce, shampoo and bubble bath.
All bottles should be in an unused condition and sealed.
The Summer Fete will be held on Friday 21st June 2019 from 1.15pm-2.45pm.
Please remember that school meals should be paid for in advance.
Payment can be made by either cash or cheque at the school, or online in schools which have a cashless catering system.
Remember that any money outstanding for school meals needs to be paid before the end of term – no debt can be carried forward to Secondary school accounts. As above, if an invoice has to be issued, the £15 surcharge will be automatically added to the amount owing.
Highland Council – Invoice Surcharge
Highland Council introduced some changes to invoicing processes in April 2019. To cover the high cost of administering invoices the addition of a £15 surcharge will be added to invoices issued for something that could or should be paid for another way. As school meals should be paid for in advance – the £15 surcharge will be applied if an invoice has to be issued retrospectively for school meals.
St Joseph’s Primary School Teddy Bears Picnic will be held on Tuesday 18th June 2019. Letters regarding packed lunches for P4-P7 have gone home in school bags today. Please note: reply slips should be returned, no later than Thursday 13th June 2019.
P1-P3 children will automatically receive a packed lunch.
